Adam Zak Photography; Zimbabwean, born and based, self-taught, passionate soul.  Blessed with a natural eye, he encaptures the scene before him and the result conveys the story in the blink of a shutter, timeless. This is seen in his portraits which have the knack of expressing the soul of the person in front of the lens. Adam is equally at ease in the bush of Africa, "This is my home and being in nature helps me to remember that all the materialism of modern day living has missed the mark completely. Out here, in silence, I access my deeper pure peaceful self and pictures are a by-product of it". He contributes the uniqueness of his images to have never formally been 'schooled' in photography. This has led to a style that cannot be taught. It just is.

Side note:  I do not label myself as a photographer, I find it limiting.  As people we like to clasify ourselves as this or that.  On a soul conscious level, without limitations of the physical we become unlimited.  This is what I strive for, as this is what I am.  I am not a photographer, but I take pictures with a camera and these are the results.
