So naturally there are times in life where one has to sit back and look at the bigger picture and this is one of those such times. In a lot of ways it is good for us, not so good for the beginning of our tourism season, it must be said. I heard Australia losses $5 billion a month just from tourism due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hopefully, next week we will be able to resume our day to day lives in Zimbabwe. Although, not sure if things will ever quite be the same in the world. Any spiritual seekers will tell you that this is just the beginning of great things. A time we will see a great polarization and a lot of change but this is all another subject entirely, I digress.
Our driver Daniel wrote his learner guides exam and should he pass he will accompany all tours to help the tours go smoothly and offer his wisdom of the African bush. Always smiling, we are happy to have him on the team.
Naturally, all tours have been put on hold but we have a feeling things will go back to ‘normal’. The bush is starting to dry up and hate to say it because it is over used by now but winter is coming and you can bet your bottom dollar, I am there, the first opportunity I get. So, if you are in Zimbabwe and have the itch to come with give me a shout, whether you be client or friend. I think now is a time of giving and helping humanity so all one will have to do is pay for their part of expenses. Maybe some of you in the tourism game would like to accompany me and we can share some ideas and connect to what we love. Always good to be in touch, with what we promote neh? Hoping to offer all clients a real down to earth experience, this one is not for the high end market. Let us all go camping in the bundu (bush).
For the time being, I am catching up on my meditation and making sure everything is going to go smoothly when normal operations resume. On a side note, I hope to receive the Sony 400mm f/2,8 soon so expect some spectacular pictures this winter. Stay tuned and stay safe. Peace and love to all.
